Challenging internship Opportunity.

Women’s Empowerment Group, a national NGO specialized in advocacy and campaigning, aims to improve the quality of the life of women by creating awareness among masses. WEG draws the attention of policymakers toward the issues of women and gives suggestions for empowering them with equal opportunities.

Policy Statement:

WEG is providing valuable work experience to the internees in a professional environment. We give them a chance to enhance and refine their skills so they can have an edge in the job market.

Objectives:

The objective of the Intern Policy is to

  1. Provide a framework of guidelines, norms and standards, which will allow the WEG to create opportunities for students / fresh graduates to receive in-service training and gain practical work experience:
  2. Meet the challenges of capacity building in the NGO sector; and
  3. Create awareness within the private and educational sector that how the social development sector functions.

Selection Criteria.

  1. An intern should be a citizen of Pakistan. He/ She must have a graduation degree. WEG promotes diversity and provides opportunities to the disadvantaged groups and the class that is ignored from playing a role in the social fabric of our society.
  2. With the approval of the CEO, students can be accepted into the WEG’s Internship Program. The Head of the department assigned must set the period of the Internship Program and Internship Learning Contact.
  3. Candidates must be willing to assign a confidentiality agreement before they are admitted to the program.
